Akkio is revolutionizing how agencies extract value from data. We're on the hunt for a talented and driven Content Marketing Manager to join our remote team to serve as Akkio's editor-in-chief and lead our content strategy. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that maintains a consistent voice across channels, connects with target audiences throughout the customer journey, and drives key metrics.

What you will bring

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS content marketing and storytelling experience as a writer/editor, with a knack for focusing on the big picture narrative while maintaining an eye for detail.
  • A passion for rapidly learning about the broader language AI landscape and keeping a keen eye on emerging industry trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to create impactful content programs that drive key metrics.
  • The ability to evaluate content marketing and promotion strategies to identify what's working and what's not - from both a marketing and creative perspective.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency with SEO, content optimization, marketing automation (e.g. HubSpot), and CMS tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and apply an intellectual curiosity with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • Preferred but not necessary: Experience in AdTech, Ad Agency, or AI Marketing space.

What you will be doing

Content Strategy & Brand Voice:

  • Act as Akkio's editor-in-chief, establishing brand guidelines and ensuring consistent voice/tone across all content touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with target audiences and driving key metrics throughout the customer journey.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Own the full content production lifecycle - ideation, creation, editing, SEO optimization, publishing, and content operations/workflows.
  • Produce/oversee a wide range of content types - interactive tools, web experiences, videos, case studies, resource libraries, webinars, talk tracks, events etc.
  • Maintain an organized content repository and CMS for efficient storage/distribution.

Content Promotion & Distribution:

  • Drive content promotion strategies across owned channels (social, email, website) and through partner/earned media opportunities.

SEO & Traffic Growth:

  • Manage SEO strategy to drive significant organic traffic growth.

Performance Measurement & Optimization:

  • Implement comprehensive measurement framework tracking metrics like traffic, engagement, leads, conversions.
  • Analyze data, provide actionable insights, and continuously optimize content initiatives to improve effectiveness and ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and manage the overall content calendar and roadmap, ensuring alignment across all content initiatives.
  • Responsible for award submissions and earned media opportunities.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously enhance content creation processes, guidelines and best practices to drive quality and efficiency.
