With a focus on digital marketing, Akkio is building a generative AI-powered, large data platform for AutoML, data exploration & cleaning, and a bunch of other stuff (including generating insights about and sub-segmenting marketing audiences, running post-campaign analytics, and surfacing metrics). Akkio makes AI accessible to everyone, not just Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers. As a Full Stack Engineer at Akkio, you will play an essential role in designing, developing, and maintaining our AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for building robust web applications that handle large amounts of data. You will collaborate with our team of engineers, data scientists, and marketing experts to create products that help digital marketing agencies achieve their goals.

You’re excited to:

• Build user-facing features and their underlying infrastructure to solve dynamic problems and delight users
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver an evolving product
• Take full ownership of projects, from considering design constraints and implications to driving architectural decisions and solving technical problems
• Wear multiple hats, adapt, and prioritize as new goals and challenges arise
• Build on legacy code while maintaining consistency across the codebase
  

You have:

• Demonstrable knowledge of computer science fundamentals, whether by degree or otherwise
• Strong design sensibilities and ability to create delightful user interfaces without relying on high-fidelity design specifications
• A solid understanding of JavaScript and experience building web applications using modern frameworks such as Vue or React
• Robust HTML and CSS skills
• Knowledge and comfort with Git or other version control systems
• A strong bias to execution coupled with high engineering standards and attention to detail
• A desire to work in a small team, build on legacy code, and adapt and learn on the job
• 2-4 years of experience as a front-end and/or full stack engineer

Bonus:

• Understanding of data science and machine learning fundamentals
• Mastery of Vue.js and VueX
• Interest and experience in data visualization and libraries such as D3 or Three.js
• Proficiency with collaborative interface design tools such as Figma
• Experience with Google Firebase apps
