As an Account Executive at Akkio, you’ll be leading the charge on making AI accessible to everyone, not just data scientists. You’ll meet and build empathy with both technical and business-focused executives to identify problems that can be solved by machine learning and demonstrate how life with Akkio means more insight, automation, and capacity for their teams.

This role reports to the VP of Growth and will play a strategic role in developing our customer community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a pipeline of both net-new opportunities based on assigned territory - from strategic planning and CRM execution
  • Quarterback the sales process both internally and externally.  Orchestrate technical and business stakeholders through proofs-of-concepts, and secure deals.
  • Deeply understand our customers’ journeys, key objections and articulate the business impact of life with Akkio through presentations, demos, and offline engagements.
  • Tailor engagements, messaging, and assets to fit customer pain points and needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Product to provide market insights
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure customer fit including use case value and feasibility assessment.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years in B2B software sales with previous startup experience
  • Experience selling emerging technologies, winning new logos, and building territories
  • Experience selling or expertise in data, analytics, data science, BI, AI/ML
  • Adaptive communicator - ability to demonstrate credibility to technical buyers (foundational knowledge of data, integrations, and analytics) and articulate value to business stakeholders
  • Athleticism to understand business applications across multiple verticals
  • Trained in solution/value selling methodologies
  • Comfortable testing, learning, and evangelizing ideas and messaging across GTM teams
